We are now looking for a SAM Engagement Manager Our customers’ team requires an administrator with sales focus: this is a role that needs a person that is well organized since this role includes a lot of deadlines. The role will include customer and partner contact and the person should like to have a sales approach in these calls to be able to maximize the True-up-revenue. The Software Asset Management (SAM) Engagement Manager is responsible for helping organizations maximize value, minimize risk, and achieve more with their IT investments. To accomplish this, the SAM Engagement Manager helps corporate customers implement SAM to optimize the return on their IT investments based on rich customer insights, and identifies value- and cloud-based solutions to address miss-licensing and short and long term strategic IT plans. A typical day in the role: The SAM Engagement Manager, Corporate is focused on growing Cloud and Annuity revenue, driving customer satisfaction, and managing all aspects of the SAM&C approach for their geography. SAM engagements are reviews conducted by certified SAM Partners, with the goals of driving software and license optimization with preference for Cloud solutions, identifying and correcting miss-licensing, and helping customers improve their SAM practices by promoting SAM as an industry-recognized best practice. In this context, key responsibilities include: • Working with account teams and segment leadership to drive the SAM engagement strategy and execution with an approach that delivers value to customers • Analyzing and selecting accounts for direct SAM engagements, and managing the opportunity pipeline for those accounts end-to-end • Articulating the benefits of SAM to gain buy-in directly with customers at CXO and IT leadership levels, then selecting the right SAM engagements and SAM Partners to work with the customers throughout the engagement • As part of the account team, ensuring visibility of the unique customer insights that are uncovered during SAM reviews, supporting the approach to selling • Collaborating with the Team Manager to select the right Corporate accounts for value-oriented solutions through the Tele engine Roughly 80% of the time is focused on driving SAM execution with customers, with remaining time spent on identifying and qualifying leads for each team motion, partner readiness, data analysis and reporting, and internal evangelism with account teams. The top three skills are as follow: • Administration experience • Sales – within a sales team or direct sales experience (retail, call sales etc.) • Self-sufficient and work well in a team The candidates we are looking for are fluent in English as well as Swedish and have a working permit for Sweden already in place.
